In this week's Creative Blog I wanted to share an exercise I read about in a book from class called Caffeine for the Creative Mind by (Stefan Mumaw and Wendy Lee Oldfield). The creative exercise was called Is that a Diamond studded Coffee Mug? In this exercise the article talks about how at some point of time most people would like to be rich and famous living in Beverly Hills and shopping on Rodeo Drive. So I was tasked with writing down ten things a single woman living in Beverly Hills would own.
Designer Handbag – A luxury handbag from brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, or Gucci is almost a staple for someone living in Beverly Hills.
High-End Car – A sleek, expensive car like a Tesla, Porsche, or a classic convertible (perhaps a BMW or Mercedes-Benz) would be common.
Luxury Apartment or Condo – A stylish, well-located apartment or penthouse in the heart of Beverly Hills or nearby areas, with great views and modern amenities.
State-of-the-Art Tech Gadgets – The latest iPhone, smart home system, and other premium gadgets like a top-tier laptop or tablet.
Walk-In Closet Full of Designer Clothes – A curated collection of high-end clothing and shoes from brands like Prada, Valentino, and Louboutin, often housed in a walk-in closet.
Fine Jewelry – Statement pieces like diamond earrings, a Rolex watch, or a designer bracelet, perhaps passed down or bought as investments.
Personal Trainer – A personal trainer or membership to a luxurious fitness center (like a private gym).
Spa & Beauty Products – Premium skincare and beauty products, such as La Mer, Dr. Dennis Gross, or items from local Beverly Hills spas.
Stylish Furniture and Home Decor – High-end furniture, maybe mid-century modern or contemporary, along with art pieces, custom-made decor, and designer lighting fixtures.
Private Chef or Gourmet Kitchen Appliances – Some may have a private chef or a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with top-tier appliances from brands like Wolf, Sub-Zero, or Viking.
