In this week's Creative Blog I wanted to share an exercise I read about in a book from class called Caffeine for the Creative Mind by (Stefan Mumaw and Wendy Lee Oldfield). The creative exercise was called Water and Air are Cold. in this exercise I was tasked with creating Headlines for the three everyday elements that are used everyday by every person on the planet.
Headlines
Headlines are crucial in advertising because they serve as the first point of contact between the message and the audience. The headline is often the first thing people see, and it’s essential for capturing their attention. If the headline doesn’t stand out, the audience may not even bother to read the rest of the content. A well-crafted headline can spark curiosity, making the reader want to learn more. It sets the tone for the rest of the ad and entices people to engage further.
This assignment was fun for me because it is a creative assignment about advertising and how in advertisement there is little time to convey the primary selling proposition for a particular product.
