Quarter Page Ad 4.25 x 5.5
I chose to design an advertisement for the Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society with a focus on helping elderly and disabled individuals because I wanted to raise awareness about the vital legal support this organization provides to those in need. Many elderly and disabled individuals may face challenges navigating legal matters, and my goal was to create an ad that not only informs but also reassures them that help is available.
I designed an advertisement for my restaurant project because I wanted to effectively communicate the unique experience and offerings of my restaurant to potential customers. The goal was to create a visually appealing and engaging ad that would attract attention and generate excitement about the food, ambiance, and overall dining experience.
I designed an advertisement for Student Services because I wanted to highlight the essential support and resources available to students. Student Services often go underappreciated, yet they play a critical role in a student's academic and personal success. My goal was to make sure that students were aware of the variety of services offered, from academic advising to counseling and career services, and to communicate how these resources can directly contribute to their well-being and success.
My design choices centered around using imagery that evokes a sense of pride, honor, and community. I incorporated symbols like the American flag and military branch insignia, but I also ensured the visuals showed two veterans both male and female in a professional settings to emphasize patriotism. I focused on a clean, bold layout that would stand out and be easily readable, making sure the key message of "Empowering Veterans to Succeed" was clear and visible.
