In this week's Creative Blog I wanted to share an exercise we all did in class while watching a video by Stefan Mumaw. The creative exercise was called Medieval Kids Meal? This exercise takes a spin on a normal kids meal we all have grown to know in some of our favorite fast food restaurants growing up. The task is within 2 minutes to try to write down as many ideas a kids meal would probably have during the medieval era.
This is a list of my ideas for this exercise.
A turkey leg
A helmet
king/queen crown
Shield
Axe
Wooden horse
A straw or cloth doll
A pitch of ale or mug
Wooden dragon
A lance
Bow and Arrow
This was a great exercise. Once the timer started I took off with ideas but after the first 30 seconds I slowed down with ideas that weren't as obvious.
